Connecticut-specific guidance checked September 29, 2026. Our existing common sign-recognition records retain their original September 15 review date and lawful artwork attribution. Exact source references are kept internally; repeating a question on another page does not increase the inventory.
The currently linked Driver's Manual (March 2023) supports ordinary Class D decisions and markings. Current knowledge-test instructions and teen restrictions supplement its older administrative text.
Motorcycle skills use the linked Motorcycle Operator's Manual (R-217, October 2025). Current motorcycle requirements and 2026 statute supplement resolve older helmet-age wording. Riding skills are not a three-wheel training course.
The current commercial learner permit page links the CDL manual revised December 2024, in use for testing from July 2025. State licensing procedures and current federal training and hazardous-material rules are distinguished from common commercial driving skills. Studying a practical procedure here is not skills-test certification.
Practice settings and official tests
Our numbered sets and fresh mixes are short, untimed study sessions, generally 20 questions or fewer. The 80% target is an editorial learning setting; these are not copies of official tests.
Learner permit knowledge test: 25 questions. 20 correct are needed to pass, subject to the separate requirements below. Additional hard-copy language versions are available; see the official page for its full list. The current operational page requires the Connecticut Work Zone Safety Course before the knowledge test. The agency publishes 25 questions and at least 20 correct. Five allowed mistakes is derived from those counts; a separate passing percentage is not published in the reviewed source. Same stated numerical test format for teen and adult applicants; no official duration or early-stop policy located. Hard-copy languages additionally listed: Amharic, Armenian, Bosnian, Simplified Chinese, Croatian, Dari, German, Greek, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Pashto, Farsi, Brazilian Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Somali, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Urdu. Its motorcycle page identifies a 16-question test; we do not claim a separately verified official passing score or timer. The CLP page specifies 50/40 for CDL general knowledge, 30/24 for hazardous materials, 25/20 for air brakes, and 20/16 for combination, passenger, school bus, tank and doubles/triples tests (questions/required correct). Our shorter topic practice sets do not pretend to match those complete official exam lengths.
Coverage is finite: core English car, two-wheel motorcycle and CDL knowledge families with selected current state requirements. Every administrative exemption, every possible exam question, complete three-wheel training, translated parity and practical certification are outside this release. Use the complete current manuals and qualified instruction alongside practice.

More about these sources
Independent practice, not official Connecticut test questions. Common signs and driving skills are not unique Connecticut rules. State licensing requirements are kept separate from shared operating guidance. Quizzes do not replace the complete manuals, current agency instructions or hands-on training.
