New Hampshire motorcycle road-use and protection rules: sources and limits

8 original questions with explanations and saved review. Selected ordinary motorcycle lane-use, passenger seating and control, carrying articles and eye/face protection duties. Legal permissions are distinguished from the separate common riding-safety recommendations.

Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.

How we built this practice

RSA Chapter 265 sections 120, 121 and 123 and their displayed histories were read October 1, 2026. Their latest displayed effective amendments are July 1, 2005; January 1, 1982; and July 21, 1989, respectively. Section 122 was read as unresolved helmet-law context, not converted into a rule question.

The actual legislative HTML clauses and these original questions were directly read and reviewed October 1, 2026. Source-history dates are separate from the review date. This selected study is not a current DMV handbook or complete session-law audit; internal reader lines are not PDF pages.

What is not covered

These ordinary-road scenarios do not establish a complete equipment or rider-law course. The official-duty police exception to the passing and between-row prohibitions is not extended to ordinary riders. The conditional-void helmet provision remains unresolved and is not scored. Legal permission to ride two abreast is not a recommendation to sacrifice safe spacing.

Practice and saved mistakes

The full and shuffled views reuse the same 8 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same rider history, without mixing other vehicles or states.
