Federal CDL medical categories: sources and limits

4 original questions with explanations and saved review. Distinguish federal self-certification categories and continuing non-excepted interstate medical qualification. These four original federal questions are reused in this state placement, not counted as four new national concepts.

Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.

How we built this practice

The retained complete 49 CFR 383.71 category and medical-certification paragraphs were acquired September 21–22, 2026, with Title 49 displayed current through September 17. October 1, 2026 is their recovery and content review, not a fresh eCFR currency check. No New Hampshire age rule is imported.

The complete retained category and medical-certification paragraphs were directly read for the original questions. This transfer preserves prompts, choices, keys, explanations and source chronology; only destination identity and a scope limitation are added. Original answer arrays are separately cloned.

What is not covered

No particular New Mexico intrastate exemption or medical duty is established. The conditional exception in a scenario is not permission to choose an exception arbitrarily. Current NRII delivery, paper submissions, examination intervals, age exceptions and complete eligibility are not covered.

Practice and saved mistakes

The full and shuffled views reuse the same 4 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same CDL history, without mixing other vehicles or states.

Keep the scenario’s conditions in mind

Read the explanation after each answer, then retry any questions you missed.
