Rider passenger seating and eye protection: sources and limits

2 original questions with explanations and saved review. Practice passenger-designed motorcycle seating and approved operator eye protection. These two scenarios use selected state-cited passages in the 2025 Uniform Traffic Ordinance compilation, separate from common riding advice.

Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.

How we built this practice

The City of Hobbs-hosted Municipal League compilation is labeled 2025, revised through July 2025 with June 2025 footers. Complete sections 12-7-4 and 12-7-5 were read October 1, 2026. Only the selected seating and eye-protection clauses carry the displayed state counterpart 66-7-355; other municipal additions are not treated as statewide authority.

The complete relevant provisions and surrounding star markers were directly read. The scenarios preserve passenger-design, seating, applicable footrests and approved-protection conditions. Physical PDF page 141 is kept separate from printed page VII-2; no illustration or current-amendment verification is claimed.

What is not covered

Dated educational practice, not verified current statewide law or municipal adoption. Ordinary motorcycle conditions exclude autocycles. Lane splitting, two-abreast permissions, permit operation and starred municipal-only provisions are not established here. Other passenger and licensing restrictions still apply.

Practice and saved mistakes

The full and shuffled views reuse the same 2 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same rider history, without mixing other vehicles or states.
