No Turns sign
What does it mean?
NO TURNS prohibits turning movements from the approach it controls. The wording applies more broadly than a sign that crosses out only a left or right arrow.
What to do when you see it
- Do not turn at the controlled intersection.
- Continue through only when the signal and other controls allow it.
- Read any posted conditions that limit when the restriction applies.
How to recognize it
- White square with a black border.
- Black NO TURNS wording on two lines.
On the road
You intend to turn right at the next signal, but NO TURNS faces the approach. Continue straight when permitted and choose a different legal junction.
Don’t confuse it with
