Selected Vermont driver responsibilities: sources and limits

14 original questions with explanations and saved review. Selected ordinary adult device-use, child and adult restraint, crash assistance and information, written reporting and conditional roadway-clearance decisions. Young-driver device restrictions remain in the separate learner set.

Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.

How we built this practice

Selected Title 23, Chapter 13 clauses and their histories were read October 1, 2026. The legislature labels the compilation as including the 2025 session. Child-restraint amendments are effective July 1, 2024; the latest displayed clearance amendment is May 13, 2025. A limited 2026 amendment search is not a complete session-law audit.

The actual legislative HTML clauses and these original questions were directly read and reviewed October 1, 2026. Internal locators retain section, paragraph and reader-line references, not PDF pages. The unavailable DMV manual is not treated as read.

What is not covered

Read each age and vehicle condition carefully. These private-car scenarios do not establish duties for every hired passenger vehicle, emergency operation or commercial vehicle. They do not cover all impaired-driving, financial-responsibility or insurance requirements. Crash clearance is conditional, not permission to abandon other scene duties.

Practice and saved mistakes

The full and shuffled views reuse the same 14 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same CAR history, without mixing other vehicles or states.

Keep the scenario’s conditions in mind
