Selected Vermont learner and junior-license rules: sources and limits

12 original questions with explanations and saved review. Selected ordinary car-learning authority, supervision, junior-license progression, passenger and employment restrictions, and young-driver device use. Separate common skills and road-rule tests keep their existing question selections.

Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.

How we built this practice

Selected Vermont Statutes, Title 23, Chapters 9 and 13, were read October 1, 2026. The legislature labels this an unofficial compilation incorporating the 2025 session. Relevant displayed amendments include May 13, 2025 for section 607 and July 1, 2025 for section 617; the read date is not a new handbook edition or complete 2026 currency audit.

The actual legislative HTML clauses and these original questions were directly read and reviewed October 1, 2026. Internal section and reader-line locators identify the evidence, not PDF pages. Unresolved 2026 consent exceptions are not turned into scored claims.

What is not covered

This is not a complete application guide. No universal parental-consent claim is made: the 2026 unaccompanied-youth certificate provisions require separate treatment. No general car night-driving curfew is inferred. Fees, special waivers, credential renewal and every later amendment are not scored.

Practice and saved mistakes

The full and shuffled views reuse the same 12 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same CAR history, without mixing other vehicles or states.
