Arkansas CDL practice
Start with 20 commercial-vehicle safety questions. Each answer includes an explanation.
Selected practice, not a complete Arkansas CDL course or an official exam.
Topics and coverage
624 CDL questions cover 60 basic driving scenarios and five 40-question supplements: air brakes, combination vehicles, passenger transport, tank vehicles and doubles/triples, plus 60 school-bus, 80 hazardous-materials, 40 road-condition, 40 hours-of-service and 20 cargo-operation questions, plus 40 federal licensing-basics, 40 driver-responsibility and 40 inspection/skills questions, plus four selected federal medical-category questions. State licensing, intrastate exceptions, other endorsements and the full skills curriculum still need separate coverage. This is not a complete Arkansas CDL course.

The basics question set contains 60 scenarios: 20 safe-driving, 20 inspection and 20 cargo questions. The three numbered tests partition those records. Topic pages and random attempts reuse the same questions; they do not add unique questions. These scenarios adapt our own shared federal material. No official or competitor practice questions was extracted.
Sources checked September 22, 2026: FMCSA safety guidance and its Motor Carrier Safety Planner, with current 49 CFR 393.104, 393.106 and 393.110 used directly for cargo questions. These federal rules concern covered CMV operations, particularly interstate operations; they do not establish Arkansas licensing procedures or intrastate exceptions. Following-time examples are safety guidelines, not Arkansas statutory minimums.
This is not a complete general-knowledge course or an official exam simulation. Separate supplements contain 40 questions each on air brakes, combination vehicles, passenger transport, tank vehicles and doubles/triples, with 60 school-bus, 80 hazardous-materials, 40 road-condition, 40 hours-of-service, 20 cargo-operation, 40 federal licensing-basics, 40 driver-responsibility and 40 inspection/skills questions bringing the original CDL question set to 620 records. A separate four-question medical-category study brings the total to 624. It preserves federal text acquired September 21–22, 2026 (displayed Title 49 currency September 17), recovered and reviewed October 1; this is not a fresh legal-currency check or a finding about Arkansas intrastate medical requirements. The operational question sets distinguish shared safety guidance from current federal interstate requirements. They are not Arkansas licensing or intrastate-compliance guides. The hazmat question set uses separately checked federal rules and PHMSA interpretations, not Arkansas licensing requirements. The school-bus question set separates shared handbook precautions from six Arkansas administrative-rule scenarios. Equipment questions identify a cached California reference; passenger questions also use federal rules and FMCSA guidance, while tank questions add PHMSA transfer-safety and FMCSA rollover recommendations. They do not establish Arkansas licensing rules. The licensing-basics supplement adds selected federal class, endorsement, restriction, CLP and ELDT rules. The responsibility supplement covers selected federal reporting, disqualification and operating duties. The inspection/skills supplement adds current federal equipment criteria and ordinary test methods, not full practical training. Current Arkansas application procedures, full passenger-endorsement requirements, multi-trailer route permissions and the full practical-skills curriculum still need further coverage. The Arkansas-hosted modernized CDL supplement was not accessible during this review. We have not verified the current Arkansas skills-test format or derived current licensing rules from an older manual.
Cargo source note: the current federal tiedown-use rule does not make outside rub-rail routing alone a violation. Adequate strength, secure attachment and required edge protection still matter. General count examples do not replace applicable commodity-specific rules.
Random basics practice uses 25 questions and an editorial target of 20 correct. These are our learning settings, not verified official Arkansas exam specifications. Practice is untimed, with immediate explanations. Quizzes do not replace the full official study material or hands-on training.
