The DOR-linked manual has an August 2025 cover revision; the general-driving, cargo, passenger, air-brake, combination, doubles/triples, tank, school-bus and hazardous-material chapters identify their body versions as July 2017. Sections 11 and 12, covering inspection and basic control, are dated March 2025. Chapter links above use physical PDF pages, which differ from the printed page labels. Internal practice references retain both. Federal equipment, roadside-warning, distraction, railroad, cargo and licensing questions draw on the applicable regulations. The licensing question set also uses current Missouri statutes and DOR procedure pages; dated notices are identified as such.
Section 14 lists general knowledge as 50 questions, air brakes as 25, and combinations, passengers, tanks, doubles/triples and school buses as 20 each, and hazardous materials as 30, with 80% required for each. Our separate random practices use targets of 40, 20, 16 and 24 correct respectively. Read the complete manual sections relevant to your vehicle and endorsement, plus current licensing and training requirements. Our 680 questions comprise 176 general basics, 48 air-brake questions, 48 combination questions, 40 passenger questions, 24 tank questions, 24 doubles/triples questions, 64 school-bus questions, 80 hazardous-material questions, 80 inspection/skills-preparation questions and 96 licensing/responsibility questions. The inspection, skills and licensing questions are written study, not separate state knowledge-exam simulations. These question sets do not cover the whole manual or replace hands-on instruction.
Hazardous-material practice cites the current federal rules for placarding exceptions, shipping-paper retention, attendance and incident reporting. An H practice score is not ELDT certification, a TSA determination or an endorsement. For school-bus stops, study Missouri’s operating rules alongside the general chapter. The state rule uses amber lights at least 500 feet in advance and a stopping separation of 6–10 feet from the closest part of the bus to the closest waiting student. Our state-specific questions cite the rule instead of importing another state’s numbers.
