New Hampshire CDL practice: sources and coverage
92 common commercial-driving knowledge questions, with explanations after each answer. Choose a short test or focus on a topic.
Common technical study, not New Hampshire licensing rules. This practice uses an older Iowa DOT-hosted manual. It is not a verified current New Hampshire DMV manual, complete endorsement course or official examination. Read the source dates and limits.

How we built this practice
The Iowa DOT-hosted Commercial Driver’s License Manual is an October 2023 edition with July 2017 technical text. Those are the actual retained source dates; this material is not relabeled as the current New Hampshire DMV manual or verified equivalent to Iowa’s current catalog edition.
These 92 existing questions cover selected general driving and cargo, air brakes, combinations, double trailers, tanks, passenger vehicles, school buses and hazardous-materials safety. Their original physical-page and printed-section references and October 1, 2026 Iowa content-review date remain intact internally. Reusing them here is not a fresh review of New Hampshire law.
No Iowa licensing questions are imported. New Hampshire eligibility, CLP supervision and duration, medical self-certification, endorsement procedures and official examination requirements are outside this technical practice. Specific school-bus and hazardous-materials scenarios preserve their stated conditions and applicable local procedures; they do not establish a route permission, local stopping rule or comprehensive current federal regulatory equivalence.
The original hazardous-materials records retain their narrow federal corroboration and its stated dates and limits. That is not a new regulatory audit. No full pneumatic test sequence, complete practical-inspection checklist, copied official sample questions or diagram-dependent questions are included. Equipment-specific precautions and manufacturer instructions still apply.
The separate medical-qualification study uses retained federal certification provisions and New Hampshire’s ordinary interstate age rule. Federal text was acquired September 21–22, 2026 with a September 17 currency display; October 1 is its content-review date. Two intrastate examination and waiver-limit scenarios use RSA 266:72-a and Saf-C 909, read October 4. This does not resolve current reporting procedures. Source chronology and exclusions.
Practice settings and saved progress
The five numbered sets cover the original 92 technical records across eight subject families. Topic pages and mixes reuse those records rather than adding new questions. The general-knowledge mix selects 20 from its 24-question selection and excludes the other families; each topic mix stays in its own question selection. All practice is untimed, with an editorial 80% study target where shown, not an official test specification.
Saved CDL mistakes are grouped across all eight subjects and remain separate from New Hampshire car and other states’ practice. This is selected commercial-driving topics. Existing selected car road-rule practice remains available; common rider skills have a separate study path. The separate local licensing study covers selected New Hampshire responsibilities and learner requirements. It does not supply complete eligibility or medical-reporting directions.
Local CDL licensing responsibilities
7 separate questions cover one-license possession, employer notification, carrying the correct CDL, interstate surrender and supervised commercial learning. Existing technical sets and mixes stay unchanged; My mistakes includes both practice sets.
Practice local CDL responsibilitiesMedical qualification and interstate age
8 questions cover category selection, continuing qualification, ordinary interstate age, covered intrastate examinations and waiver limits. Current New Hampshire reporting procedures and untested exemptions remain outside this study.

Know the limits
Technical guidance does not grant a license, endorsement, school-bus assignment or hazardous-materials permission. Follow current New Hampshire and local requirements, your vehicle manufacturer’s instructions and qualified practical training. These quizzes do not certify inspection skills, ELDT completion or safe operation of a particular vehicle.
