New Mexico / State rules and licensing
New Mexico graduated licensing: sources and limits
10 original questions with explanations and saved review. Selected car learner-permit, supervised-practice and provisional-license decisions. These questions supplement the separate common car-technique and national-sign question set.
Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.
How we built this practice
The MVD learner-permit page and Chapter 13, Section E were read on October 1, 2026. Section E is explicitly revised December 8, 2017; the learner page’s June 17, 2011 notice concerns a holding-period amendment, not a page-wide review date. The questions preserve those distinctions and do not claim a complete current-statute audit.

These agency pages were directly read and the original questions reviewed on October 1, 2026. This set does not use the September 29 recovery date of the separate rider questions. Internal locators identify the actual HTML sections and reader lines, not PDF pages.
What is not covered
This is not a complete New Mexico permit-law course. Traffic controls, priority, shared-road duties, occupant restraints, impairment, insurance and crash-reporting rules remain outside this short GDL set. Exceptions depend on the stated circumstances; completing a minimum holding period alone does not establish eligibility.
Practice and saved mistakes
The full and shuffled views reuse the same 10 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same CAR history, without mixing other vehicles or states.
