South Dakota guidance checked September 29, 2026. Shared recognition retains its own dates and lawful artwork credits. Exact provenance remains in internal records. Tests, topics and mixes reuse the same questions; repeated appearances do not increase the inventory.
The current agency catalog links the Driver License Manual, Revised 11/2024. It has 72 physical pages. Current 2025 teen-driver guidance and statutes resolve later school-bus, supervision and stopped-emergency-vehicle rules. Questions and schematics are our own work, with separately sourced federal sign illustrations.
The Motorcycle License Manual, Revised October 2020 has 47 physical pages and uses the MSF eighteenth revision, June 2020. Printed body pages are two below physical pages. Our question set covers ordinary two-wheel riding, not three-wheel handling. Current law and the July 2025 teen pamphlet supply motorcycle-specific supervision, hours, stage requirements, helmets, equipment and lane rules. The supervisor rides a separate motorcycle; copied car wording about sitting beside the learner is not used.
The Commercial Driver License Manual, Revised 07/2025 has 189 physical pages, operational sections dated July 2017 and modernized skills sections dated March 2025. The March 2026 medical self-certification form supersedes older medical prose: from July 1, 2026, medical certification is required except for qualifying excepted-interstate operations. Current categories are NI, EI and NA. Under-21 drivers use NA and need a certificate. NI/NA medical certification is submitted electronically by the examiner, not by mailing or emailing a paper certificate.
Practice settings and limits
Numbered sets and fresh mixes are untimed, generally 20 questions or fewer, with an editorial 80% study target. These are study settings, not a verified official South Dakota exam format, timer or passing prediction. CDL mixed practice covers general knowledge only; choose endorsements separately.
This finite English release covers core Class 1 car, two-wheel motorcycle and applicable CDL knowledge families with selected current requirements. It is not every administrative exception, every possible exam question, translated parity or practical-driving certification. Specialist licensing exceptions, non-domiciled CDL policy, three-wheel handling and small-engine classification boundaries are not fully covered. Use the complete manuals and qualified instruction, and confirm application requirements with South Dakota Driver Licensing before testing.

More about these sources
Independent practice, not official South Dakota test questions. Common signs and driving skills are not unique South Dakota rules. State licensing requirements are kept separate from shared operating guidance. Quizzes do not replace the complete manuals, current agency instructions or hands-on training.
