Federal CDL medical categories: sources and limits
4 original questions with explanations and saved review. Distinguish federal self-certification categories and continuing non-excepted interstate medical qualification. Four original federal questions are reused here; these are not four additional national concepts or Arkansas-specific exemptions.
Read each question’s conditions carefully. Requirements can differ by age, license and vehicle use. How we built this practice.
How we built this practice
The complete relevant 49 CFR 383.71 paragraphs were acquired September 21–22, 2026 with displayed Title 49 currency through September 17. Their retained body was recovered and reviewed October 1, 2026, not freshly fetched that day. The original federal chronology and question review dates are preserved.
The retained federal category and medical-certification paragraphs were directly read for the original content review. This Arkansas placement preserves all prompts, choices, keys and explanations, separately clones the answers and adds only destination metadata and a scope limitation. It does not establish current state medical-reporting procedures.
What is not covered
The intrastate exception scenario assumes that a state exception applies; it does not establish any Arkansas exception or medical duty. State eligibility, NRII delivery, paper submissions, examination intervals and special programs are not established here. No New Hampshire age rule is transferred.
Practice and saved mistakes
The full and shuffled views reuse the same 4 questions. Separate technical numbered sets and mixed practice selections stay unchanged. My mistakes adds this local topic to the same CDL history, without mixing other vehicles or states.
Keep the scenario’s conditions in mind
